Nutrition is increasingly important for the performance of players in modern football. New insights show that behavior, mind, focus, motorskills, resilience, speed of decision and action, is influenced by specific nutrients. In particular, brains are sensitive to the availability of nutrients for their functioning. When applied to youth development strategies, performance can be influenced to an optimal personalized level.

With an immaculate track record and extensive background in football Raymond Verheijen is the leader in football conditioning and has introduced his unique football specific approach successfully throughout the world. But Verheijen developed, and is still developing, other coaching components.

In football training, the passing exercises, possession games, tactical games and football conditioning exercises should all contribute to the development of the playing style.

Expert Meeting 2015 Day 2

During the second day of the 2015 Expert Meeting Football Braining was the main subject. Multiple speakers presented their knowledge about how to train your brain.

The highlight of the day was the exclusive tour in Camp Nou, the stadium of F.C. Barcelona. Where Raymond presented his new book ‘How simple can it be?’ to the Expert Meeting Delegates.
