After the regular coaching staff meeting, Raymond gave a philosophical update with respect to the definition of the four football fitness characteristics. After step-by-step introducing the logical structure of football (communication, decision making, executing decisions and football fitness) in football language in the last decade, Raymond presented the final step in bringing fitness back home to football.
During the first two workshops coaches got an update on the ‘Football Specific Strength Reference’ and develop this afternoon’s Football Conditioning Training based on the team periodisation. In particular the tactical periodisation which was developed in the respective workshops last Wednesday.
FC Krylia Sovetov Samara manager Frank Vercauteren will share his experience of dealing with many Russian external factors in difficult circumstances by applying the principles of Football Periodisation and Football Braining as well as many other principles discussed at previous Expert Meetings.
In the 2nd part of the morning programme coaches delivered a Football Strength Training with the Feyenoord Under 19 players. Furthermore coaches discuss how the principles of Brain Endurance Training can be applied in the football context and continued developing a video presentation based on yesterday’s tactical analysis of Sunday’s opponent.
The afternoon started with 3 workshops: ‘Individual Periodisation within Football Conditioning Training’, ‘Football Rehab Training – quantity’ and ‘Basic Action Training instead of Football Sprints’. These sessions were followed by the coaching staff meeting preparing this afternoon’s training sessions. Coaches split up into 5 practicals with the Feyenoord U19 players.
